Monti, AloisMonti, Alois, b. Abbiategrasso near Milan, Italy, Oct. 13, 1839, d. Vienna, Oct. 30, 1909 pediatrician. Studied in Milan, then assistant physician at the St. Anna children's hospital in Vienna. From 1872 head of the 2nd Children's Ward of the Vienna Poliklinik hospital, from 1887 University Professor, from 1893 director of the Allgemeine Poliklinik in Vienna.
