Misson, JosefMisson, Josef, b. Mühlbach am Manhartsberg (Lower Austria), March 14, 1803, d. Vienna, June 28, 1875, Lower Austrian dialect poet. 1834 Piarist priest, from 1825 teacher at grammar schools and 1854-1857 librarian in Krems, Vienna and Horn. His fragmentary epic poem "Da Naz, a niederösterreichischer Bauernbui, geht in d´Fremd" (8 cantos, 1850; after 1875 several editions) gives an impression of the village life at the time.
