Minor, Jakob (pseudonym: Junius, J. Löw), b. Vienna, April 15, 1855, d. Vienna, Oct. 7, 1912, literary historian and essayist. Professor at the universities in Milan, Prague and from 1885 in Vienna; from 1888 professor of German language and literature; assisted with the work on the Weimar edition of Goethe.
