Meyer, RobertMeyer, Robert, b. Bad Reichenhall (Germany), Oct. 21, 1953, actor. 1974 début at the Burgtheater, since then member of the company. Character actor, humorous roles, above all in works by J. Nestroy; from 1988-1998 in the summer actor and director (from 1993) at the Kurtheater in Reichenau (Lower Austria). Numerous film and TV productions ("Geschichten aus dem Wienerwald", 1978; "Glaube, Liebe, Hoffnung", 1980; appearances in the TV series "Derrick", "Der Alte", "Der Leihopa"). Awarded the J.-Kainz Medal in 1999.
