Trained as a typesetter; 1955 co-founder of the Vienna Theatre "Experiment am Liechtenwerd", 1958 founded the company "Die Komödianten ", which performed from 1963 in the "Theater am Börseplatz" and from 1974 in the "Theater im Künstlerhaus". Since "Die Komödianten" broke up in 1985 free-lance director, from 1992 at the re-established "Theaterarbeit im Burgenland". Awarded the J. Kainz Medal 1970. Literature: W. Schlögl, C. H.
