Martini, Louise eigentlich Marie-Louise Chiba, verehelichte SchwarzMartini, Louise (real name: Marie-Louise Chiba, Luise Schwarz by marriage), b. Vienna, Nov. 10, 1931, actress. Studied at the Vienna drama school "Reinhardt-Seminar", from 1950 played revue and cabaret in Vienna; 1956 to 1961 worked in revues with H. Qualtinger, G. Bronner and G. Kreisler. 1962 breakthrough in Munich with the leading role in the musical "Irma la Douce". Worked for TV and radio at the Austrian broadcasting corporation ORF, ("Mittags-Martini", "Martini-Cocktail") and the German radio stations "Bayerischer Rundfunk" and "Westdeutscher Rundfunk".
