Luksch, RichardLuksch, Richard, b. Vienna, Jan. 23, 1872, d. Hamburg (Germany), April 21, 1936, sculptor. Belonged to the group around G. Klimt, left the "Wiener Sezession" with him in 1905. Created works for the Wiener Werkstätte (interior design of the Purkersdorf Sanitarium, Palais Stoclet) and for O. Wagner (statues for the Church am Steinhof); 1907 to 1936 taught at the School of Arts and Crafts in Hamburg, Germany. Literature: ÖBL; NDB.
