Leobersdorf


Leobersdorf, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Baden, alt. 267 m, pop. 3,751, area 12.34 km2, railway junction where the River Triesting leaves the Alps and flows into the Vienna Basin. - Large engine works (diesel engines, compressors) and other engineering industries (for example for stone crushing machines), cable and brickworks. - Late Baroque parish church (1775), staggered church with ceiling frescos by F. Schilcher (1859-1862); parsonage (17th century).
