LammerLammer, River, province of Salzburg, eastern tributary of River Salzach; the spring of River Lammer is situated south-east of the Tennengebirge Mountains. It flows through the Abtenau Basin (central village, 714 m) and the Lammer-Öfen gorge and empties into the Salzach river south of Golling (483 m). The River Lammer has excellent water quality. The Lammer valley is the centre of the Tennengau area in the province of Salzburg and is linked to Gosau (736 m) via the Gschütt Pass (957 m). The average water flow amounts up to 18.1 m3/sec. near Obergäu.
