Küchl, RainerKüchl, Rainer, b. Waidhofen an der Ybbs, Lower Austria, Aug. 25, 1950, violinist. Began his violin studies at the Vienna University of Music (Musikhochschule) at the age of 14; since 1971 concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic, founded the Küchl Quartet in 1973, since 1982 Professor at the Vienna University of Music.
