Krones, Therese, b. Bruntál, Czech Republic (then Freudenthal), Oct. 7, 1801, d. Vienna, Dec. 28, 1830, actress, soubrette. As early as 1811 acted in children´s roles in her father´s travelling company in Brno (then Brünn), went to Temesvár, then to Vienna, again guest performances with her father in 1812. From 1818 in Zagreb, Graz and Ljubljana, returned to Vienna in 1821. After her breakthrough in 1824 in A. Bauerle´s magic opera "Aline", became the role model for soubrettes of her time. F. Raimund wrote the parts of Mariandl in "Der Diamant des Geisterkönigs" and of Youth in "Der Bauer als Millionär" for her. 1830 last performance in the Theater in der Leopoldstadt.
