Kremayr & ScheriauKremayr & Scheriau, publishing company, founded by R. Kremayr and W. Scheriau in Vienna in 1951, company headquarters in Vienna. In 1966 Bertelsmann, a German publishing company, participated in the Donauland book club and consequently also in Kremayr &Scheriau. In 1991 Kremayr &Scheriau took over Orac, a publishing company for non-fiction books (guides, lifestyle, etc.). Kremayr &Scheriau publishes non-fiction and Austria-related books concerning history, cultural history, cabaret, politics, contemporary history and others. The documentaries "Österreich I" and "Österreich II" by H. Portisch were especially successful; from 1992 to 1997 Kremayr &Scheriau published the "Historisches Lexikon Wien" by F. Czeike, which is to have 5 volumes.
