Koppitz, Rudolf


Koppitz, Rudolf, b. Skrbovice, Czech Republic (then Schreiberseifen), Jan. 3, 1884, d. Perchtoldsdorf (Lower Austria), July 8, 1936 photographer. Apprenticeship in photography, then training at the Vienna School of Graphic Arts, where he taught after World War I. One of the principal exponents of art photography between the world wars in Vienna, concentrated on portraits, nudes and dance.
