Kontrollbank AG, Oesterreichische, OeKBKontrollbank AG, Oesterreichische, OeKB, founded in 1946 as a credit institute entrusted with special services in the field of export promotion; since 1950 the OeKB has been the agent of the Republic of Austria that handles banking operations in connection with applications for the assumption of liabilities under the Export Promotion Act. Since 1960 the OeKB has financed exports of goods and services under medium and long-term contracts. The OeKB is active in the field of trust transactions, financing syndicates and the money-market.
