KollerschlagKollerschlag, Upper Austria, market town in the district of Rohrbach im Mühlviertel, alt. 726 m, pop. 1,415, area 17. 44km2, situated in the northern Mühlviertel region near the German border. - Customs office and office of the customs police; transport and construction firms.- From July 25 to July 27, 1934 (July Putsch of 1934) Kollerschlag was the scene of several attacks by members of the National Socialist Legion, Österreichische, which had invaded Austria from Bavaria. 6 people were killed in the attacks. During an arrest the police came across a written instruction ("Kollerschlag document") for a National Socialist seizure of power in Austria. - Parish church in Late Baroque-Classicist style (1787-1800), sail vault with modern frescoes; Baroque interior (around 1744) originating from other churches: high altar with painting "Death of St. Joseph" (1746) by B.
