Koch, MatthiasKoch, Matthias, b. Vienna, Nov. 3, 1798, d. Baden (Lower Austria), April 27, 1877, author and librarian. Wrote books of cultural and historical interest. In 1848 wrote flysheets denouncing the revolution. Works: Die Donaureise von Linz bis Wien, 1838; Wien und die Wiener, 1842; Reise in OÖ. und Sbg., 1846; Genesis der Wr.
