Koberger, Gebhard FerdinandKoberger, Gebhard Ferdinand, b. Vienna, Dec. 24, 1909, d. Klosterneuburg (Lower Austria), Aug. 16, 1997, Augustinian canon. Took his vows at the monastery of Klosterneuburg in 1929 and was its provost 1953-1995. 1954-1987 Abbot-General of the Austrian Augustinian Congregation, 1962-1965 its representative at the 2nd Vatican Council. 1956-1974 President of the Conference of Superiors of Male Orders and 1968-1974 Abbot-Primate of the International Confederation of Augustinian Canons.
