Klebelsberg von und zu Thumburg, RaimundKlebelsberg von und zu Thumburg, Raimund, b. Brixen/Bressanone (South Tyrol), Dec. 14, 1886, d. Innsbruck (Tyrol), June 6, 1967, geologist. 1921-1958 professor at the University of Innsbruck, wrote important studies on glacial geology, glaciology and geology in the Tyrol. 1913 participated in the Pamir expedition of the German and Austrian Alpine Club. Study tours to the mountains of the Mediterranean region. Works: Geologie von Ti., 1935; Handbuch der Gletscherkunde und Glazialgeologie, 2 vols., 1948/1949; Editor of the Schlern-Schriften (from 1923) and founder of the magazine for glaciology and glacial geology, 1950-1967.
