Klang, HeinrichKlang, Heinrich, b. Vienna, April 15, 1875, d. Vienna, Jan. 22, 1954. jurist. 1925-38 Professor of Civil Law at the University of Vienna, member of the Oberlandesgericht in Vienna, 1942-45 imprisoned in Theresienstadt concentration camp, after 1945 Senate President of the Oberster Gerichtshof (until 1949) and Honorary Professor at the University of Vienna (until 1951). Published the Juristische Blätter law magazine (1923-38, 1947-54). Works: Pfandrechtsschutz bei der Feuerversicherung von Gebäuden, 1918; Geldentwertung und Juristische Methode, 1925; Kommentar zum österreichischen ABGB, 1935; Versicherung und Bürgerliches Recht, 1936.
