Keßler, HerbertKeßler, Herbert, b. Bludesch (Vorarlberg), Feb. 2, 1925, law graduate and politician (ÖVP/Austrian People's Party). 1957-1964 mayor of Rankweil, 1954-1964 member of the Vorarlberg Landtag 1964-1987 chairman of the Austrian People's Party in Vorarlberg and Landeshauptmann of Vorarlberg. K. vehemently supported federalism and strengthened the relationship between Vorarlberg and its neighbours Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
