Kalchegger von Kalchberg, Johann Nepomuk


Kalchegger von Kalchberg, Johann Nepomuk, b. Pichl Palace (municipality of Mittdorf im Mürztal, Styria), March 15, 1765, d. Graz (Styria), Feb. 3, 1837, writer, historian and one of the curators of the Joanneum; uncle of Josef Kalchegger von Kalchberg and Franz Kalchegger von Kalchberg. Wrote popular dramas on themes taken from Austrian history.


Works: Gesammelte Schriften (collected works), ed. by A. Schlosser, 4 vols., 1878-1880.
