Judtmann, FritzJudtmann, Fritz, b. Vienna, June 15, 1899, d. Vienna, Dec. 10, 1968, architect, stage and costume designer. From 1925 free-lance architect, member of the Künstlerhaus association of painters, sculptors and architects. 1934-1935 trainee at the Burgtheater, from 1935 worked permanently at the Burgtheater, 1945-1963 succeeded Geyling as head of design of the Burgtheater, legal adviser for building matters of the Federal Theatres. Works: municipal buildings in Vienna, 1928; TBC-Pavillon, Wien-Lainz 1930; Porrhaus, Vienna 1932. - 70 scenery for Burgtheater and Akademietheater and the Ronacher.
