Jettmar, RudolfJettmar, Rudolf, b. Zawodzie near Tarnow (Poland), Sept. 10, 1869, d. Vienna, April 21, 1939, painter and graphic artist. Studied at the Vienna Academy and in Karlsruhe, painter and decorator in Leipzig. Also studied graphic arts with W. Unger in Vienna. Member of the Vienna Secession and from 1898 teacher at the art school for women in Vienna, 1910-1936 teacher at the Vienna Academy. His works were strongly influenced by the symbolism of M. Klinger.
