Jauntalbahn

Jaun Valley Railway, 19 km long, built 1959-1964. Together with the Langenberg Tunnel (1443 m long), the Johannesberg Tunnel (400 m long), and the Drau Bridge (430 m long, 86 m high, highest railway bridge in Austria) connects Jaun Valley with Lavant Valley (Bleiburg-St. Paul) on Austrian territory, replacing the circuitous route (Klagenfurt-Unter-Drauburg/Dravograd-Lavamünd-St.Paul) through the region ceded to Yugoslavia in 1919.
