Irrsee


Irrsee, Lake (Zeller See Lake), Upper Austria, alt. 553 m, 4.4 km long and 1 km wide, 32 m deep, average water quality, quiet and relatively warm lake at the border to the province of Salzburg. Lake Irrsee has hardly any inlets but the Zeller Ache stream drains it into Lake Mondsee, situated to the southeast. Southwest of Lake Irrsee is Kolomannsberg mountain, in the north access from Straßwalchen (542 m) is possible. East of the lake is the municipality of Zell am Moos (573 m).
