Innerhofer, FranzInnerhofer, Franz, b. Krimml bei Salzburg, May 2, 1944, writer. As a child he worked at his father's farm, afterwards smithcraft apprenticeship, from 1966 attended grammar school for working people, then studied German and English language and literature at the University of Salzburg; from 1973-1980 he lived as a free-lance writer, mostly in Switzerland, afterwards bookseller in Graz. Became famous overnight with his first autobiographic novel "Schöne Tage" (1974), which describes his difficult childhood. Literary award "Rauriser Literaturpreis" in 1975. Further works: novels: Schattseite, 1975; Die großen Wörter, 1977; Der Emporkömmling, 1982; Um die Wette leben, 1993. - Dramas: Orvieto, 1990; Scheibtruhe, 1992. Literature: J.
