Infineon Technologies Villach AGInfineon Technologies Villach AG, company formed in 1999 by a spin-off from Siemens AG Österreich, headquarters at Villach, Carinthia, subsidiary of Infineon Technologies. Develops, manufactured and sells semiconductor chips, predominantly for voice recognition and data transmission, peripherals, radio transmitters, vehicle and industrial electronics, access and chip cards as well as storage systems. I. T. V. AG had a staff of approx. 2170 in 1999 (more than 10% of whom were engaged in research and development) and achieved sales in the order of ATS 4.25 billion.
