Hofer, AntonHofer, Anton, b. Bozen/Bolzano (South Tyrol), April 8, 1888, d. Bozen/Bolzano (South Tyrol), Feb. 19, 1979, textile artist and designer. 1908-1912 studied at the Vienna School of Arts and Crafts under K. Moser. Helped make the Klosterneuburg pontifical vestment (1911), one of the most interesting religious textile works of the period.
