The company was formed through the merger with Herba Apotheker-AG (founded 1916), Chemosan Union-AG and Pharmazent Industriebeteiligungs AG, which had already formed part of the Herba group, in 1997. Headquarters in Vienna, further locations in Linz, Salzburg, Dornbirn, Graz and Rum (Tyrol). The group (1,200 employees) achieved a turnover of 8,000 million ATS in 1997.
