HelfenbergHelfenberg, Upper Austria, municipality in the district of Rohrbach im Mühlkreis, alt. 567 m, pop. 1,116, area 9.59 km2, on the Steinerne Mühl river, in the northern Mühlviertel region close to the border with the Czech Republic. - Textile industry (manufacture of linen, trousers, towels, etc.), wooden staircases, electric power station (private, in the municipality of Afiesl, covers 70 % of the power consumption of Helfenberg). - Baroque parish church 1712-1716 built by J.
