HeldenbergHeldenberg, Lower Austria, municipality in the district of Hollabrunn, alt. 238 m, pop. 1,061, area 27.37 km2. The monument in praise of the Austrian army, from which Heldenberg derived its name, was built by the supplier to the army, J. Pargfrieder, in 1849. It consists of a pantheon and a mausoleum for field marshals J. W. Count Radetzky and M. v. Wimpffen as well as for Pargfrieder himself. 142 busts of military leaders in the park.
