Heinrich V.Heinrich V, d. Tagliamento estuary (Italy), Oct. 12, 1161, from 1144 Duke of Carinthia, member of the House of Sponheim. Lost influence following the rise of Otakare of Styria and the loss of the mark of Verona in 1151. 1158 became governor of the Bishopric of Gurk; supported the Staufer and took part in the campaigns of Friedrich I in Italy.
