Haunold, Karl Franz Emanuel


Haunold, Karl Franz Emanuel, b. Vienna, March 29, 1832, d. Vienna, July 7, 1911, landscape painter. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, travelled to Hungary, Italy and through the Alps, concentrated on mountain landscapes; also illustrator and caricaturist. Co-founder of the Albrecht Dürer Verein in Wien in 1861.
