Vienna, Dec. 31, 1807, sculptor, probably student of F. X. Messerschmidt, worked on the statues in the park of Schönbrunn Palace under W. Beyer, from 1778 modeller for the Vienna porcelain factory (Wiener Porzellanmanufaktur); his style was marked by strict classicism.
