Lvív, Ukraine (then Lemberg), Aug. 3, 1875, statesman; father of Count Agenor Goluchowski the Younger. 1849-1859, 1866-1868 and 1871-1875 governor of Galicia, 1859/1860 Minister of the Interior, 1860 minister of state; created the basis for the Oktoberdiplom 1860, resigned after it was repealed.
