GöfisGöfis, Vorarlberg, municipality in the district of Feldkirch, alt. 558 m, pop. 2,715, area 9.05 km2, situated on a plateau east of Feldkirch. - Timber industry, ribbon weaving mill, production of cast stone slabs. -Parish church (1972-1975) with Gothic choir and spire. Early settlements (2300/2200-1600 B.C.) at the Heidenburg near Göfis as well as evidence of Roman settlement (450 A.D.).
