GleinstättenGleinstätten, Styria, market town in the district of Leibnitz, alt. 308m, pop. 1,257, area 8.32 km2, southwest of the town of Leibnitz, close to the Slovenian border, in the Sulm valley. Family guidance clinic, specialised schools for textile manufacturers and bakers. wood and synthetics industries (containers, vessels), valve assembly plant. - Baroque parish church (1692), tower dating from 1754-1757.
