Glaser, ErnstGlaser, Ernst, b. Vienna, April 15, 1912 director-general for radio broadcasting in Vienna (1954-1975). Began his career as a teacher of German and history, secretary at the Vienna Municipal School Board and co-founder of the Institute for Arts and Sciences (Institut für Wissenschaft und Kunst) and the Vocational Academy for Social Work; from 1949-1954 secretary for education at the Chamber of Labour.
