Fussenegger, ErnstFussenegger, Ernst, b. Dornbirn (Vorarlberg), March 16, 1874, d. Niš; Nisch, Yugoslavia, (then Nis), Jan. 3, 1915, analytical chemist. From 1901 worked for the "Badische Anilin- und Sodafabrik (BASF)", where he developed numerous important industrial dyes (e.g. lithol red 3 G, chrome fast blue B). Literature: ÖBL.
