Friedberg-Pinkafelder BuchtFriedberg-Pinkafelder Bucht, Styria and Burgenland, wide part of the valley of the upper reaches of the rivers Lafnitz and Pinka before they enter the hill country of Southern Burgenland, between the Wechsel mountain in the west and the Bucklige Welt and the Günser Bergland region in the east. Geologically the Friedberg-Pinkafelder Bucht belongs to the northern part of the Styrian Basin with rock layers dating back to the early Tertiary Period.
