Floningzug

Floning Mountains (also called Floning-Troiseck mountain range), Styria, a thickly wooded mountain range (Floning mountain: alt. 1,684 m, Troiseck mountain: alt. 1,468 m) parallel to the Mürz valley (north-west). Due to limestone, dolomite and slate deposits from the Mesozoic period this mountain range is of great geologic significance within the Central Alps ("Central-eastern Alpine").
