Munich (Germany), June 19, 1871, landscapist, animal and genre painter, lithographer and etcher. friendship with F. Gauermann. travelled to Germany, Switzerland and in 1837 to Rome. From 1840-1860 he lived in Salzburg and created several graphic cycles, among them views of Salzburg and Upper Austria ("Malerische Ansichten aus Salzburg und Oberösterreich.") (1852).
