FelixdorfFelixdorf, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Wiener Neustadt, alt. 282 m, pop. 4,035, area 2.48 km2, in the southern portion of the Vienna Basin between Wiener Neustadt and Leobersdorf. - Cultural centre, water works; until recently a textile company was located in Felixdorf. As a result of the general crisis in the Austrian textile industry, industrial activity has gone through a phase aimed at establishing smaller enterprises in several different sectors. - Founded in 1822 as the "Colonis" of Wiener Neustadt; Felixdorf has been a municipality since 1889.
