FabierFabier (Fabians), an English-style society made up of intellectuals dedicated to reforming the social structures of the day, founded in 1893 by the economist O. Wittelshöfer (1855-1901). Members included E. Pernerstorfer, Michael Hainisch und E. Philippovich. Their meeting place was the Ronacher ballroom. The society disbanded after 1901. Literature: M.
