ErdbergErdberg, formerly a village (first documented mention in 1192 as Erdpurch), 1810-1850 Viennese suburb, later part of the 3rd district of Vienna; parish church (first documented mention in 1353, renovated 1700-1726). The English king Richard I (Lionheart) was captive in Erdberg on December 21/22, 1192.
