Englische FräuleinLadies of Loreto, ("Institutum Beatae Mariae Virginis" - IBMV, also known as Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary, English Ladies); religious congregation committed to the education and spiritual care of girls, founded by Mary Ward, an Englishwoman, in 1609/1610, first under the title "Female Jesuits", in Austria houses at St. Pölten (1706, motherhouse and school), Krems (1724, school) and Vienna Institute (hostel, retreat and cultural centre).
