Eisenmenger, Rudolf HermannEisenmenger, Rudolf Hermann, b. Simeria, Rumania (then Piskitelep), Aug. 7, 1902, d. Vienna, Nov. 3, 1994, painter. 1921-1928 studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under H. Tichy and R. Bacher. 1939-1945 president of the Künstlerhaus museum in Vienna. Created monumental allegories and large-format portraits. Works: 13 tapestries for the Mozart Hall in the State Opera House, Vienna, 1949-1955; Iron curtain at the State Opera House, Vienna, 1955. Literature: M. Missbach, R. H. E., doctoral thesis, Vienna 1986.
