Eggenberg, Ruprecht Freiherr vonEggenberg, Baron Ruprecht von, b. Ehrenhausen (Styria), 1545, d. Vienna, 1611, imperial general in the Turkish Wars. Owned the Renaissance palace at Ehrenhausen and in 1609 began building a mausoleum there.
