Egg, LoisEgg, Lois, b. Innsbruck (Tirol), Oct. 11, 1913, d. Vienna, May 29, 1999, set designer; studied at Prague and Vienna (with C. Holzmeister); worked at Innsbruck, Coblenz, Reichenberg, Prague (Deutsches Theater from 1941-1945), Berne (1947-1959); from 1959 to 1978 worked at the Burgtheater as well as for other theatres in Vienna and the Salzburg Festival, 1966-1984 professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
