Ebenhoch, Alfred, b. Bregenz (Vorarlberg), May 18, 1855, d. Vienna, Jan. 30, 1912, conservative Catholic politician, legal scholar and poet. 1888-1901 and 1903-1912 member of the Reichsrat, 1898 Landeshauptmann of Upper Austria; 1907/1908 Minister of Agriculture. United the Catholic People's Party and the Hohenwarth Club with K. Lueger's Christian Socialist Party.
